The Skin We're In

In this CBC documentary, writer and activist, Desmond Cole shatters the naive assumptions that many Canadians have about the presence of anti-black racism in their country.  Using the Ontario police's "carding system" as his most powerful example, Cole makes it clear that systemic racism is at the core of Canadian society and that it is every Canadian's responsibility to dismantle the racist structures inherent to our government and social institutions.  A powerful and revealing documentary.
