The Library has many computer workstations located throughout the 1st floor, and 8 workstations upstairs in the Silent Zone on the 2nd floor.
Any computer can be used to find resources like books, articles and movies in the Library's physical and online collections.
Log in to any workstation using your CapU credentials. Connect to the CapU student network, or print with your virtual printing account. Community members can ask for access at the Library Services Desk.

Working with Documents
Please do not save items to the desktop or My Documents except for immediate printing.
Remember to email important documents to yourself to ensure you do not lose work. Never open a document directly from email - always save to your personal CapU drive folder FIRST, then edit, save, and email for safekeeping.
Working on Wireless
Capilano offers free wireless internet access to all active students and employees in the Library and throughout most areas on campus. See the Wireless Access page for more detailed instructions.
Note: Printing from laptops/wireless is available via CapU Wireless network for PDF documents only. For more information, visit Printing in the Library or the IT Services page on printing.
We’ve done our best to make outlets available throughout CapU Library. All study carrels on the 2nd floor have their own plugs and additional outlets are on most walls and pillars on the 1st floor. If an outlet doesn’t work, please report it to the Library Services Desk; it’s likely a breaker needs to be flipped.
Charging Stations
The Library has some chargers to lend out for short-term loan - see our Library Equipment list for details. The CSU also provides secure device-charging stations in their Library Lounge, located near the south-west exit of the Library building.
