Printing and colour copying use the PaperCut system. See the IT Services printing information page or ask at the IT Services Desk in the library for further assistance. Whenever you are copying or printing, make sure you follow copyright regulations.
The IT Services Desk is located next to the printers in the library, for your printing/scanning/copying and connection questions.
Please note: The Library Service Desk cannot make change as we have no cash on site. PaperCut offers a variety of ways to add money to your virtual account, including credit and debit.

Printing/Copying Costs
PaperCut pay stations are available inside the library near the printers. You can send a print job to the printers, then add money to your account, and log in to release your job.

Printing
The library has 3 b&w and 2 colour printers available to use.

Copying and Scanning
All printers at CapU Library are multi-function devices (MFDs) and can be used for colour/B&W copying and scanning. All MFDs operate on your virtual print account. To copy or scan, simply tap in with your CapCard or log in to the machine with your CapU username and password. You must have money on your account to copy or scan - you can add more at a print pay station, located in the printer area of the Library. Copying is the same price as printing. Scanning is free, but you need to have some funds in your printing account to be able to access scanning features on the machines.
Faxing
The Capilano Students' Union offers faxing services for students in the CSU Library Lounge (LB195). There is no fax machine in the Library, but you can scan and email documents.
